Sometimes, it’s as simple as hitting a lever so that a drawbridge shifts to a perpendicular angle letting Lloyd walk up to it and onto the ceiling. Throughout each chapter is a smattering of levers that shift the camera’s perspective or change the layout of a room. The trial and error puzzle-solving nature of games like Limbo and Inside are here, yet there are not quite as many brutal fail states. Puzzles that involve bending the laws of physics (walking on walls and ceilings), manipulating the dream world (moving things, rotating rooms), collecting and using found objects, and avoiding enemies.It would be easy to undercut that mystery if the gameplay wasn't up to snuff, but thankfully Darq's mechanics are pretty clever.Sound design by Bjørn Jacobsen, known for his work on such games as Cyberpunk 2077 and Hitman.Unique artstyle and detailed environment to explore.Psychological horror set in a lucid dream, relying on slow build and creepy atmosphere rather than gore and violence.Small touches like the way text, symbols, and clocks work in this game are very reminiscent of actual dreams. The puzzles were pretty good, and the mechanics were interesting, but where this game really shines is in ambiance. It took us 1.8 hours to get through it with about half the achievements.
To manage your expectations: this game is quite short. Instead, he has to rely on careful planning to avoid getting detected. He has no chance of winning in an open confrontation, since the creatures he will encounter are much more powerful and faster than him.

The mechanics are manageable enough to get and are presented in a manner that supports navigate the game completely. Somewhat implicative of famous Inside or Limbo!
